The youngest prince, who is often depicted as kind and clever, faces numerous challenges on his journey. He befriends a hermit who advises him on how to capture the bird. Upon finally finding the Ibong Adarna, the prince learns that the bird only sings and reveals its beauty at dawn. The prince follows the hermit's advice and successfully captures the bird.
