In the fourth season, Dexter targets a group of vigilantes known as "The Trinity" (led by Cynthia Preston), who are killing people they deem evil. Meanwhile, Debra becomes increasingly suspicious of Dexter's activities, and his relationship with Lila (played by Jaime Murray) becomes complicated.
