In 2009, DirectX 10 was a widely used graphics API (Application Programming Interface) developed by Microsoft. DirectX 10 allowed game developers to create games that could take advantage of the latest graphics hardware, including graphics cards from NVIDIA and AMD. In this paper, we will examine the impact of using DirectX 10 on the graphics performance of Resident Evil 5, as well as explore the possibility of downloading a DirectX 10-enabled version of the game.
