The Holy Quran is the sacred book of Islam, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over 1400 years ago. It is considered the word of God as revealed to the Prophet and is the primary source of guidance for Muslims worldwide. The Quran has been translated into many languages, including English, to facilitate understanding and interpretation for non-Arabic speakers. One of the most widely used and respected English translations of the Quran is by Abdullah Yusuf Ali.
