The film tells the story of a young couple, Raj (Ajay Devgn) and Aarti (Raveena Tandon), who are deeply in love and get married. However, their happiness is short-lived as they face opposition from Aarti's brother, Vikram (Tinu Anandan), who disapproves of their union. Vikram had promised his mother that he would marry Aarti to his own son, and he tries to sabotage Raj and Aarti's relationship.
