The Gretta Walter Bosque is home to a diverse range of plant species, including trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants. A total of 150 plant species were identified, with a significant proportion being native to the region. The bosque also supports a wide range of animal species, including birds, mammals, reptiles, and insects. A total of 75 animal species were recorded, with some being endangered or vulnerable.
