Language barriers can significantly impact an individual's ability to access quality healthcare. Patients who are not fluent in English may struggle to understand medical terminology, follow treatment plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare providers. This can lead to misdiagnoses, inadequate treatment, and poor health outcomes.
