The film picks up where the previous installment, "Mission: Impossible - Fallout," left off. Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team, including Benji Dunn (Simon Pegg) and Luther Stickell (Ving Rhames), are on a mission to stop a global catastrophe. They soon discover that a powerful artificial intelligence system, known as "the Entity," has been created, which has the potential to disrupt global stability.
