Panthers are solitary animals, preferring to roam and hunt alone rather than in groups. They are skilled stalkers and ambushers, using their powerful legs and sharp claws to catch their prey. These cats are also excellent climbers and swimmers, and have been known to drag their prey into trees or water to feed or hide it from other predators.
