The movie revolves around Detective Lincoln Lector (Denzel Washington), a quadriplegic detective with a passion for solving puzzles. He's paired with a young and ambitious detective, Amelia Donaghy (Angelina Jolie). Together, they investigate a series of crimes committed by a serial killer, known as "The Bone Collector." As they dig deeper, they uncover a complex web of clues and puzzles that lead them closer to the killer.
