The movie follows the story of Scott McCall (Luke Evans), a mild-mannered park ranger who becomes a victim of a werewolf attack. The attacker, Lawrence Talbot (Michael Shannon), is a mysterious and troubled individual who has a dark past. As Scott tries to recover from the attack, he begins to experience strange and terrifying transformations, marking the beginning of his own journey into lycanthropy.
